"THERE WILL BE A REDUCTION IN HUNGER IN NIGERIA THIS 2026, THERE WILL BE A REVERSAL OF JAPA, THOSE WHO LEFT BEFORE WILL RETURN." - PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE'S SAYS

During the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s annual 2025/2026 crossover service at Redemption City, Pastor E.A. Adeboye shared his prophecies for the new year, drawing thousands of worshippers eager for spiritual guidance.

Adeboye described 2026 as a year that will surpass 2025, saying the spiritual momentum that began in 2024 will strengthen, bringing more opportunities, breakthroughs, and successes, while failures and setbacks will reduce. He encouraged believers to remain hopeful, noting that many testimonies will begin with the phrase, “God remembered me at last.”

Focusing on Nigeria, the cleric prophesied a noticeable reduction in hunger, suggesting that food scarcity and economic hardship will ease as small and medium enterprises thrive, creating more jobs and stability. He also predicted a “reverse japa,” where many Nigerians who left the country for better opportunities abroad will return, drawn by improving conditions and renewed hope.

On global matters, Adeboye expressed cautious optimism, stating that the risk of major international conflict in 2026 is lower than before and that weather patterns are expected to remain largely stable, though isolated storms may occur.

The pastor concluded by urging worshippers to seek personal reflection and alignment with God’s purpose, promising that more revelations about Nigeria’s future will unfold through continued prayer and divine guidance.
