Media entrepreneur and entertainment executive, Tambari Steve, has revealed that he and some associates had initially planned to launch a media campaign against the Executive Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Dr. Thomas Bariere Ariar, over alleged unfulfilled promises to the Bua Kaani community.

Tambari made this disclosure in a trending video, where he explained that the planned media action was meant to call out the council chairman following what he described as a significant allocation received by the local government, which residents felt had not translated into expected projects for Bua Kaani.

However, he said he later abandoned the plan after reviewing the chairman’s performance and contributions to peace and development in Khana LGA.

According to Tambari, Dr. Thomas stands out among the 23 local government chairmen reinstated after the emergency rule, describing him as the only one visibly delivering on governance.

He went on to commend several achievements of the Khana council administration, including the donation of vehicles to all 19 councillors, efforts to unify MOSOP factions, renovation of selected secondary schools across the local government, and the distribution of electricity transformers to various communities, among other projects.

Despite the praise, Tambari appealed to the chairman to extend more development projects to his Bua Kaani community, particularly by rehabilitating the dilapidated secondary school and improving access roads within the area.

He also expressed appreciation to Dr. Thomas for making the councillor representing Bua Kaani a beneficiary of the car gift, renovating the community town hall, and providing a 25KVA transformer to improve power supply in the community.
