"I AM READY TO HAVE A CHILD OUTSIDE MARRIAGE." -- MERCY EKE CRIES OUT | #RWGBLOG

Nigerian reality TV star and media personality Mercy Eke has announced her willingness to become a mother even if she is not married. In a recent interview, Eke revealed that she feels capable of raising children independently and is prepared to have up to three kids on her own.

The former Big Brother Naija winner said marriage is not a current priority for her, explaining that she has not yet met the right partner. “If I get pregnant now, I’m just going to have my baby,” Eke stated, emphasizing her confidence in managing motherhood without a husband.

Eke also addressed societal perceptions, noting that the stigma often attached to having children out of wedlock usually targets people who are financially struggling. She argued that her position allows her to make such a choice without concern.

Despite her openness to having children independently, Eke said she remains optimistic about future relationships and hopes to find the right partner when the time is right.

Her comments have reignited discussions about modern family structures and changing attitudes toward marriage and parenthood in Nigeria.
