Former Niger Delta militant leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, has allegedly issued a fiery response to reports of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent comments about Nigeria.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Asari Dokubo was seen fiercely declaring that he is “ready to fight America” if Trump dares to send soldiers to Nigeria, calling the former U.S. leader a “lunatic.”

Dokubo reportedly said, “Let him come with his soldiers, I’m ready to fight America. They’ll never leave Nigeria alive.”

Although the video has sparked massive reactions online, CelebrityBlog9ja could not independently verify the authenticity of the clip or when it was recorded. No official statement has been released yet from Dokubo’s media team regarding the viral footage.

This comes amid renewed tension following Trump’s criticism of alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria, which has triggered mixed reactions among Nigerians and political commentators.

Asari Dokubo, known for his outspoken nature and strong defense of Nigeria’s sovereignty, has previously clashed with Western leaders over foreign interference in African affairs.

16 Senior Officers Detained Over Alleged Coup Plot Against Tinubu Military authorities are continuing investigations into a foiled coup attempt against President Bola Tinubu’s administration, and PREMIUM TIMES has obtained exclusive details on 16 officers currently detained in connection with the plot. A car hire operator has accused Nollywood actress Regina Daniels of owing him ₦570,000 after allegedly using his vehicle and driver for over a week without settling the full payment.  The man said he was contacted about 12 days ago by someone who asked to hire his Toyota Prado to pick up a client in Maitama.
