A man named Brian Mwenda shocked Kenya’s legal system after impersonating a lawyer and winning 26 cases before being arrested. According to Daily Mail, Mwenda allegedly gained unauthorized access to the Law Society of Kenya’s portal by uploading his photo and credentials under the name of a legitimate lawyer, Brian Mwenda Ntwiga. This allowed him to appear in court and represent clients without any formal legal training. 

Despite being unqualified, Mwenda successfully argued and won cases in Magistrates’ Courts, the High Court, and even the Court of Appeal. His courtroom performance stunned many, with some comparing him to fictional characters like Mike Ross from the TV show Suits.

 The Federal Government has abolished the use of indigenous languages as a medium of instruction in Nigerian schools, making English the sole language of teaching from early childhood to tertiary level. Former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has publicly criticized the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for denying that he insulted a Naval officer during a recent confrontation in Abuja. The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 11, when Wike visited a disputed plot of land and ordered the halt of construction. Naval Lieutenant A.M.
