EDO ASSEMBLY SUMMONS NATASHA OSAWARU OVER SHOUTING MATCH WITH HUSBAND IN A VIRAL VIDEO | #RWGBLOG
The Assembly has issued a seven-day ultimatum to Natasha Osawaru to appear before its Ethics and Privileges Committee. She must explain why her conduct — as seen in the viral video — allegedly tarnished the reputation of the House.
The call was made by the Speaker, Blessing Agbebaku, during plenary, who accused her of “dragging the name of the House in the mud.” He stressed that the assembly will no longer tolerate such behaviour.
The lawmaker’s behaviour in the video reportedly reflects “negative treading” on both electronic and social media, according to the Speaker’s remarks.
The Committee has been given two weeks after her appearance to submit its findings and recommendations.
