Four men were killed last night in Nawfia, Anambra State, Nigeria, in an attack by unknown gunmen. The incident occurred at Afor Market Junction in Nawfia, with several others injured. The motive behind the attack is still unclear, but eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen arrived in a Lexus RX Jeep and a Toyota Sienna, opening fire on unsuspecting residents.

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the incident, with spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga stating that police operatives have been deployed to the area and an investigation is underway.

This latest attack is part of a series of violent incidents in Anambra State, with several people killed in recent days. The state has been plagued by insecurity, with gunmen targeting communities and security personnel.
