JUST IN: EFCC UNVEILS N212.8 BILLION PROPERTIES LINKED TO MALAMI'S EIGHT YEARS AS ATTORNEY-GENERAL

The EFCC has also released the list of properties valued at N212.8billion, which were mostly acquired during Malami's eight years (2015-2023) in office as Attorney-General of the Federation.

The properties, which include hotels, residential buildings, lands, schools, and a printing press, are scattered across Kebbi, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The properties in Kebbi state are valued at N162 billion while the assets in Kano state are said to be worth N16 billion, and the value of the FCT properties was put at N34.6 billion. Full list below:

BREAKING NEWS: FEDERAL HIGH COURT BARS POLICE FROM ENFORCING TINTED GLASS PERMITS NATIONWIDE

A Federal High Court judgment delivered today, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, has officially banned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and all officers from enforcing tinted glass permit policies. The court, presided over by Justice Joe Egwu, also barred the police from harassing, arresting, detaining, or extorting motorists and citizens under the guise of implementing the policy. The injunction further restrains the police from using the Parkway Projects Account a private contractor’s account for any government business until the substantive suit is heard and determined. The order followed an application filed by Mr. Israel Joe in suit HOR/FHR/M.3/2025, represented by Mr. Kunle Edun, SAN, and other lawyers. A Nigerian man has sparked debate after questioning the practice of attending church services only to watch them on television. He specifically mentioned Salvation Ministries as one of the churches where some members reportedly watch services on TV under the guise of physically going to church. He argued that with the availability of live services on social media platforms, it makes little sense for explanation to travel to a church building just to watch a televised service without seeing the pastor minister live. According to him, it is illogical for someone to wake up early on a Sunday morning, dress up, forgo the comfort of their bed, spend money on transportation, and then sit in church merely to watch a television screen.
