Workers in Rivers State have begun receiving a ₦100,000 Christmas bonus approved by *Governor Siminalayi Fubara* for civil servants, public workers, and pensioners across the state.
The bonus, aimed at ensuring a joyous festive season for workers and senior citizens, marks the third consecutive year the administration has provided such a gesture. Rivers State, alongside Lagos, pays the ₦85,000 minimum wage to its workers, the highest by any state government in the country.
