1. ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Pure Hearts Outreach is a Christian, non-profit humanitarian initiative dedicated to touching lives, restoring hope, and demonstrating the love of Christ through practical acts of compassion.
Since our inception, Pure Hearts has focused on reaching vulnerable children, supporting struggling families, and shining God’s light in communities where it is needed the most.
Our mission is simple: to heal, to help, and to give — with a pure heart.

2. ABOUT THE OUTREACH (2025 EDITION)

The Pure Hearts Outreach 2025 is a special two-day impact mission designed to bring joy, relief, and love to abandoned children, orphans, and children living on the streets of Port Harcourt.
This outreach will include:
• Food distribution
• Clothing and shoe donations
• Gift packs for children
• Medical & hygiene support
• Prayer, encouragement, and emotional care
• A Christmas celebration experience for the children

Our goal is to remind every child that they are seen, they are loved, and they matter.

3. HOW LONG WE’VE BEEN DOING THE OUTREACH

Pure Hearts Outreach began in 2022, and for the past three years, we have consistently carried out yearly visitations, relief support, and ministry assignments across various churches.
2025 marks our first full community expansion, reaching beyond the church walls into:
• Orphanage homes
• Children on the streets
• Vulnerable communities in Port Harcourt

By God’s grace, Pure Hearts has grown from a small group initiative into a movement of compassion.

A Federal High Court judgment delivered today, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, has officially banned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and all officers from enforcing tinted glass permit policies. The court, presided over by Justice Joe Egwu, also barred the police from harassing, arresting, detaining, or extorting motorists and citizens under the guise of implementing the policy. The injunction further restrains the police from using the Parkway Projects Account a private contractor’s account for any government business until the substantive suit is heard and determined. The order followed an application filed by Mr. Israel Joe in suit HOR/FHR/M.3/2025, represented by Mr. Kunle Edun, SAN, and other lawyers. The 2019 gubernatorial candidate, Engr. Kiadun Richard Deekae (MNSE), has officially resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a resignation letter dated December 12, 2025, addressed to the State Chairman and the Ward 9 Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Engr. Deekae described the decision as a difficult one, citing personal reasons which were not disclosed in the letter. Sources revealed that his move was triggered by the recent defection of Governor Siminalayi Fubara from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC. Engr. Deekae expressed deep appreciation to the leadership and members of the ADC for their support and commitment while working with him, wishing the party well in its future endeavors.
