"STOP ATTACKING PASTORS AND CHRISTIAN LEADERS ONLINE," - BOBBY STEVE WARNS YOUTHS


Music minister Bobby Steve has cautioned youths against trolling or attacking pastors and Christian ministers on social media, noting that it is easy for people to criticize and point out faults from a distance.

In a post shared on his Facebook page in the early hours of Thursday, December 18, 2025, Bobby Steve urged young people to concentrate on their personal callings and channel their energy into meaningful pursuits. He also encouraged them to seek divine guidance through prayer to avoid temptation and evil.
His message comes amid the recent online backlash and criticism directed at Pastor Chris Okafor and other clergymen.

According to the music minister, fame, wealth, and spiritual influence come with enormous pressure that many outsiders fail to understand. He warned that those who mock or celebrate the misfortune of others often end up facing similar challenges themselves, emphasizing the importance of humility, restraint, and prayer.

A Federal High Court judgment delivered today, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, has officially banned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and all officers from enforcing tinted glass permit policies. The court, presided over by Justice Joe Egwu, also barred the police from harassing, arresting, detaining, or extorting motorists and citizens under the guise of implementing the policy. The injunction further restrains the police from using the Parkway Projects Account a private contractor’s account for any government business until the substantive suit is heard and determined. The order followed an application filed by Mr. Israel Joe in suit HOR/FHR/M.3/2025, represented by Mr. Kunle Edun, SAN, and other lawyers. It effectively stops the Nigeria Police from resuming the tinted glass permit enforcement scheduled for January 2, 2026. Deekae described the decision as a difficult one, citing personal reasons which were not disclosed in the letter. Sources revealed that his move was triggered by the recent defection of Governor Siminalayi Fubara from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC. Engr.
