Popular Nigerian comedian and streamer, Carter Efe, has taken to Instagram to air his grievances against his baby mama, Emmanuella, amid their ongoing separation dispute.

In a series of emotional and widely shared posts, Carter Efe accused her of putting him through two years of emotional distress, mental exhaustion, financial setbacks, and creative struggles. He also claimed he faced constant online attacks, including what he described as false abuse allegations.
The streamer further alleged that he was denied access to their daughter for three months and stated that Emmanuella left him for five months, only to resurface after he rose to prominence as one of Africa’s biggest streamers.

His outburst has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many users expressing sympathy while others engaged in debates around co-parenting, relationships, and personal struggles under public scrutiny.

The faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to Nyesom Wike has asked Ajibola Basiru, national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to apologise to the FCT minister within 48 hours. PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES ABE AS CHAIR OF NUPRC, SEEKS SENATE CONFIRMATION

Rivers State Executive Council (EXCO) has approved a proposed ₦1.85 trillion budget for the 2026 fiscal year. The budget is tagged “Budget of Resilience for Growth and Development.” The approval was given on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the EXCO meeting held at Government House, Port Harcourt, and chaired by Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Speaking after the meeting, the Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Prof. Peter Medee, said the budget will be used to complete ongoing projects and settle outstanding obligations of the state.
