BREAKING NEWS: CHRIST EMBASSY UNVEILS 'OF GOD' ELECTRIC CARS AS PASTOR CHRIS UNVEILS TSION BRAND
Christ Embassy has taken its innovation and economic development drive into the automotive space with the unveiling of a new range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand.
The vehicles were unveiled by the church’s founder and president, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, during The New Economy Unveiling 2026, an initiative focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development.
Videos from the event circulating online showed Oyakhilome presenting several vehicle models, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision Series, Vision Coupe and OG Series.
During the presentation, the cleric indicated that development and refinement of some aspects of the vehicles were still ongoing, including adjustments to the steering-wheel design.
He also explained that the initials “OG” represent “Of God,” adding an unusual faith-based identity to the vehicle lineup.
The unveiling has attracted significant attention online, with the initiative generating reactions over Christ Embassy’s expanding activities beyond conventional religious programmes into technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu, founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, also reacted to the development, describing it as a striking demonstration of the church’s growing presence beyond the pulpit.
The unveiling signals an ambitious attempt to combine faith, technology and economic empowerment while showcasing locally driven innovation to a wider audience.
As development of the vehicles continues, the Tsion project is expected to generate further interest over its manufacturing process, technology, market availability and potential impact on Nigeria’s emerging electric-vehicle ecosystem.
