Actor Charles Inojie has sparked reactions after sharing his controversial opinion on marriage and the rising rate of divorce during a beer parlour discussion. 

According to the actor, one of the reasons divorce is becoming increasingly common is because humans have abandoned God’s original design for marriage. 

He said; “One of the reasons the rate of divorce is high is because we humans have left God’s original design for marriage.” 

He further made a controversial claim that God created side chicks to help couples navigate difficult periods in their marriages, saying they could “save” a marriage when things become challenging at home. 

“For instance, God knows marriage would not be easy, that’s why He created side chicks so that when things are hard at home, the man can use the side chick to save the marriage because side chick is very important in every marriage.”

Alayande was reportedly found de@d within the hostel premises on Friday, August 7, 2026, after she allegedly jumped from the rooftop of a four-storey hostel building. According to the police, a s¥ic+de note was reportedly discovered by her hostel mate and a relative, who began searching for her before she was allegedly found after the incident.
