₦140 MILLION EMPOWERMENT: HON OROLOSAMA DISBURSES ANOTHER ₦140 MILLION TO BOOST SMEs

Another batch of small business owners in Rivers State has received financial support under a N140 million Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) empowerment initiative spearheaded by Hon. Orolosama Peter Amachree.

The disbursement, which took place in the second week of the programme, saw beneficiaries receive cash grants aimed at strengthening their businesses and boosting local economic activities, despite ongoing political tension in the state.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Hon. Amachree urged them to invest the funds prudently and remain committed to hard work, noting that discipline and faith were key to achieving sustainable growth and unlocking future opportunities.

He also called on the beneficiaries to continue supporting the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, expressing confidence in the governor’s leadership and his capacity to navigate the current political challenges confronting the state.

The SME empowerment initiative is part of broader efforts to stimulate grassroots economic development, support entrepreneurship, and alleviate financial pressures on small business operators across Rivers State.
