BREAKING NEWS: IBADAN FEDERAL HIGH COURT DECLARES PDP NATIONAL CONVENTION INVALID

The Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has nullified the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15, 2025.

In its ruling, the court restrained Umar Damagum Turaki and others from parading themselves as national officers of the party.

The court further held that the Caretaker Committee led by Abdulrahman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu remains the only recognised National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP, pending the conduct of a valid National Convention.
