Onitsha Traders to Shutdown Govt House in Massive Protest Tomorrow Over Soludo's Order to Shut Market 

Governor Soludo this morning ordered shutdown of Onitsha main market over traders' continued sit-at-Home protest for Nnamdi Kanu's Release.

The traders who spoke with Igbere TV questioned the shutdown order as illegal and a violation of their fundamental human rights to decide when to Open and not to open their private business premises and vowed to shut down the government house tomorrow if the governor goes ahead with the illegal order.

Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday threatened to commit the lead defence lawyer to politician and online publisher, Omoyele Sowore, Marshall Abubakar, for contempt over rudeness in court. For raising his voice in court, the judge ordered Sowore’s lawyer to “come out and kneel down” in open court.
