IF YOUR WIFE EARNS N1M AND YOU EARN N100K, DONT EXPECT HER TO USE HER N1M TO TAKE CARE OF HOUSE, SPLIT YOUR N100K AND GIVE IT TO HER, SHE'LL VALUE IT MORE THAN HER OWN N1M - PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE TELLS MEN

Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has sparked conversations online after sharing advice on financial responsibility within marriage.

Speaking during a recent church service, Enenche addressed situations where a wife earns significantly more than her husband. He noted that a man earning ₦100,000 monthly should not feel pressured or expect his wife, even if she earns ₦1 million, to shoulder all household responsibilities.
“If your wife earns ₦1 million a month while you earn ₦100k, don’t expect her to use her ₦1 million to take care of the family. Instead, you can split your ₦100k and give her ₦50k, she will value your ₦50k more than her ₦1 million," he said.

According to the pastor, responsibility and intentional giving matter more than income size. He advised husbands to consciously give a portion of their earnings to their wives, even if it seems small.

“If you earn ₦100,000, split it. Give your wife ₦50,000 or ₦60,000,” Enenche said. “That money will mean more to her than her own ₦1 million.”

He explained that such gestures strengthen emotional bonds in marriage, stressing that money given by a husband carries deeper value because it represents care, leadership, and commitment.

Enenche added that when a man shows responsibility despite limited resources, it builds respect and love, predicting that financial improvement will eventually come.

The message has generated mixed reactions on social media, with many praising the pastor for promoting responsibility and dignity in marriage, while others debated the practicality of the advice in today’s economic reality.
