RIVERS APC, LED BY TONY OKOCHA, WARNS AGAINST DISCRIMINATION IN E-REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The Tony Okocha–led All Progressives Congress in Rivers State is warning against discrimination in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise across the state’s 23 local government areas.

Speaking at the flag-off of the exercise at the party secretariat in Port Harcourt, Okocha says the registration is meant to create a credible and accurate membership database in line with national party reforms. He warns that no eligible member should be denied registration and cautions against actions that could undermine the exercise, which is scheduled to end on January 31.

APC State Secretary, Eric Nwibani, also stated that the party is collaborating with the National Identity Management Commission to prevent irregularities, adding that the National Identity Number is a key requirement for registration.
