"SOME NIGERIANS ARE NOW SAYING FOOD IS BECOMING TOO CHEAP" - SENATOR ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has stirred reactions following comments he made during an appearance on Channels Television while defending the government’s economic reforms.

Responding to a question on whether the promised radical reforms were carried out at the expense of the average Nigerian, Oshiomhole said, “The truth is we promised radical reforms.” When pressed further, he dismissed the idea of reforms h¥rting ordinary citizens, asking, “Who are the average persons? You pick these things from the mouth of the people.”

He went on to challenge the host, saying, “Have you gone to see people complaining? There are Nigerians now saying food is becoming too cheap.”

Oshiomhole also insisted that the concerns raised by the host were not supported by evidence, maintaining that the claims being made were largely speculative and not backed by verified facts.
