COURT ADJOURNS NASIR EL-RUFAI’S BAIL APPLICATION TO MARCH 31, NO BAIL GRANTED

The Federal High Court has adjourned the bail application of Former Governor Nasir  El-Rufai to March 31. 

El-rufai was today arraigned on only one of ten charges, relating to deposits into a domiciliary account and monetization of earnings, alongside co-defendant Joel Adoga.

The arraignment proceeded despite pending proceedings involving the same judge, who has reserved other applications for the next hearing.

No bail was sought or granted today, as the matter will now be considered at the adjourned date.

El-Rufai’s lawyer says nothing problematic occurred, and the defense is yet to be served on other potential cases.

Jehovah’s Witnesses have introduced a notable shift in their long-standing stance on bl+od transfusions, now allowing members to use their own stored bl+od during medical procedures. Under the updated policy, members can have their bl+od removed, preserved, and later reinfused, particularly in planned s¥rgeries. Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was a victim of a violent burglary at his residence in the UK, with attackers making away with items worth an estimated £500,000.   According to Daily Sports, Iwobi was reportedly held at knifepoint by the attackers during the incident.   The gang allegedly ransacked the house, stealing designer wristwatches, jewellery, two iPhones, a MacBook laptop, and approximately £200,000 in cash.   Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.   Iwobi played for Fulham last weekend as the Cottagers defeated Burnley 3-1 in the Premier League.
