"I PRAYED AND GOD TURNED THINGS AROUND AFTER A TERRIFIED WIKE APPROACHED ME WHEN HE LOST HIS ELECTION IN COURT." - PASTOR DAVID IBIYEOMIE
Pastor David Ibiyeomie has claimed that divine intervention played a critical role in the political victories of former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike.
During his church service yesterday, the cleric recounted how Wike was facing what seemed like insurmountable legal and political challenges. According to Pastor Ibiyeomie, Wike had already lost in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court judgment was expected to go against him.
“I called him, and he was shaking on the phone. I said, ‘Don’t fear, don’t panic. God will step in.’ He said, ‘Papa, I believe,’” Pastor Ibiyeomie said.
The pastor described a series of spiritual activities, including his participation in a church programme called “Five Nights of Glory”, which he claims preceded the change in Wike’s legal fortunes. He alleged that the Chief Judge reassigned the case and replaced the Supreme Court panel, ultimately resulting in a judgment favorable to Wike.
Pastor Ibiyeomie also revealed that he secretly donated millions of naira and prayed fervently on Wike’s behalf, asking God to intervene not only for Wike but also to uphold his own faith before the world.
He further alleged that during Wike’s re-election, there were plans to manipulate the election results in favor of another candidate, Biokpomabo Awara. According to the pastor, the scheme was thwarted by sudden divine intervention, ensuring Wike’s victory.
