DEGREENWORLD CITIZENS UNVEILS "KEEP IT GREEN" PROGRAMME TO PROMOTE ALTERNATIVE SOURCES OF INCOME

The CEO of Degreeworld Citizen, Luster Bright, has unveiled a new initiative aimed at educating people on how to develop alternative sources of income in the event of losing their primary means of livelihood.

The programme, tagged “Keep It Green,” will be hosted virtually via Google Meet and is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge, ideas and strategies for creating multiple income streams.

The first episode of the programme is scheduled to hold on August 22, 2026, featuring Peter Ayorinde.

According to the convener, Luster Bright, the “Keep It Green” programme will be highly educational and will equip participants with the knowledge and strategies needed to establish alternative sources of income should unexpected circumstances affect their current livelihood.

He encouraged members of the public to participate in the programme and take advantage of the knowledge that will be shared during each episode.

The public is also encouraged to join the Greenworld Citizen WhatsApp Community to receive the latest updates, announcements and information about subsequent episodes of the programme.

The Aleto community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State has renewed its call for transparency, accountability and justice over funds allegedly allocated to landowners and host communities connected to Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals, Fertiliser and Super-Packaging companies. Aleto is one of the six host communities to Indorama Eleme. The community says it donated about 159 hectares of land out of approximately 369 hectares used for the development of the company, with the land forming part of the equity arrangement involving the host communities.
