WOMAN K!LLS HER 3 CHILDREN, ATTEMPTS SUlClDE AFTER HUSBAND LEARNS OF HER EXTRAMARITAL AFFAIR

Police in India have registered a m8rder case against a woman for allegedly poisoning and strangling her three children to d3ath before attempting su!cide by consuming phenyl, officials said on Wednesday, May 27.

The incident occurred in Valsad, Gujarat, Ahmedabad after the woman's husband found out about her extramarital affair. 
The woman is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

According to Valsad deputy superintendent of police (DSP) JK Patel, police received information that a woman had k!lled her children, following which an investigation was launched.

"We got information that a woman has killed her children. Upon investigation, we found that an altercation between the husband and wife followed after he discovered his wife’s affair,” DSP Patel said.

During the probe, it was found that she allegedly administered phenyl to the children and later consumed it herself.

"She had made her children consume phenyl and did the same herself. We found her in an unconscious state and admitted her to a hospital. Further investigation is underway," DSP Patel added.

ASU EKIYE CLARIFIES CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING DIVORCE

Gospel music minister Asu Ekiye has offered clarification on the circumstances surrounding the dissolution of his 28-year marriage, following numerous calls and messages seeking to understand what led to the separation. President Bola Tinubu has ordered the arrest of one George Buchi Nwabueze and suspended three permanent secretaries after the anti graft agency ICPC uncovered another fake agency operating within the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The Ogoni Dialogue Committee, ODC, has denied claims that it influenced the allocation of 40 job slots at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, or played any role in the award of government contracts. A 31-year-old mother, Kenya Glasgow, and her two-year-old daughter, Kennedi, have been k+lled by lightning during a thunderstorm in Margate, south-east Florida. Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 101-year-old great-grandmother for dealing in illicit drugs and also intercepted cocaine concealed in edible cassava flour popularly known as fufu. In a rare and startling development, NDLEA operatives on Saturday, August, arrested a 101-year-old woman, Esther Ogunmabo, in Ilisan, Ogun state, with retail sachets of skunk, a strain of cannabis weighing 90 grams, which she claims she sells to locals. The centenarian told operatives that she resorted to the illicit drug trade after her provisions shop was razed by fire, adding that one of her daughters, who resides in Lagos, arranges the supply of the substance to her every four days, which she in turn sold in bits.
