"WOMEN NOW FAKE PREGNANCIES WITH STEROIDS AND BUY BABIES TO DECEIVE HUSBANDS." - EX-NAPTIP DG, JULIE OKAH-DONLI SAYS

Former Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Tr@fficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Julie Okah-Donli, has alleged that some women use ster%ids to fake pregnancies before obtaining babies to deceive their husbands into believing they gave birth.

Speaking during an interview on the Kaa Truths Podcast, a clip of which resurfaced on Tuesday, July 14, Okah-Donli claimed that women involved in the alleged scheme are injected with ster%ids that cause physical changes similar to pregnancy.

“They are injected with ster%ids… Their faces are bloated up, and their tummies are actually very big. They look pregnant, but they are not pregnant,” she alleged.

She further claimed that the women pretend to experience pregnancy symptoms whenever their husbands are around and later present babies as their own after allegedly arranging for the men to be absent during the supposed delivery.

Okah-Donli also alleged that some women undergo procedures to create scars resembling those from a caesarean section to make the deception appear genuine.

She argued that maternity tests should accompany paternity tests in disputed cases, saying they could help investigators uncover alleged baby tr@fficking.

According to her, some women also falsely claim to have given birth to twins, triplets or quadruplets because it makes it easier to explain obtaining multiple babies at once.

The Ogoni Dialogue Committee, ODC, has denied claims that it influenced the allocation of 40 job slots at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, or played any role in the award of government contracts. A 31-year-old mother, Kenya Glasgow, and her two-year-old daughter, Kennedi, have been k+lled by lightning during a thunderstorm in Margate, south-east Florida.
