MARRIAGE ISN'T EASY, IF YOU MARRY YOU'LL REGRET AND IF YOU STAY SINGLE YOU'LL STILL REGRET." - SINGER RYBEENA

Singer Rybeena has advised people not to be afraid of marriage because of the challenges that may come with it, noting that both marriage and staying single can come with regrets. 

Speaking on the Wahala Podcast, Rybeena said people should be willing to take the risk, stressing that marriage is not always about romance and happiness.

“If you marry, you regret. If you don’t marry, you still regret. Choose one of the regrets and take the risk,” he said. 

The singer explained that disagreements and arguments are inevitable in marriage because couples come from different backgrounds and have different mindsets. 

“Marriage is not always like loving, loving. It’s about disagreeing and arguing,” Rybeena said. 

He added that what matters most is how couples handle their differences, understand each other and make adjustments for the sake of the relationship. 

“What matters is the way we combat, the way we understand each other, and we know our dos and don’ts,” he said.

ASU EKIYE CLARIFIES CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING DIVORCE

Gospel music minister Asu Ekiye has offered clarification on the circumstances surrounding the dissolution of his 28-year marriage, following numerous calls and messages seeking to understand what led to the separation. In a statement, Ekiye explained that the decision to end the marriage was not initiated by him, but by his wife, who, according to him, expressed her desire to end the relationship, moved out of their home and subsequently commenced divorce proceedings. He stated that for about a year after the separation, he made several efforts and appeals towards reconciliation, hoping that the marriage could be preserved. President Bola Tinubu has ordered the arrest of one George Buchi Nwabueze and suspended three permanent secretaries after the anti graft agency ICPC uncovered another fake agency operating within the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. ICPC Chairman Musa Aliyu, made this known after briefing the President for the second consecutive day this week.   He says the agency , National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Special Project Office was uncovered while investigating the fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council. The Aleto community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State has renewed its call for transparency, accountability and justice over funds allegedly allocated to landowners and host communities connected to Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals, Fertiliser and Super-Packaging companies. Aleto is one of the six host communities to Indorama Eleme. The community says it donated about 159 hectares of land out of approximately 369 hectares used for the development of the company, with the land forming part of the equity arrangement involving the host communities. According to members of the community, families that surrendered their farmlands for the project have, since 2012, continued to demand a clear account of funds and benefits allegedly meant for landowners and other beneficiaries.
