Comedian Mr Jollof has reacted to the massive crowd that gathered during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s rally in Kaduna, dismissing claims that the crowd images circulating online were generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

Speaking about the rally, the comedian said, “President Tinubu is in the North, those of you saying it was AI with the crowd in Kaduna.”

He went on to compare the president’s popularity to that of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, stating, “There is no difference between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Michael Jackson. People are fainting by just seeing him.”

His comments come amid online discussions surrounding the large turnout at the Kaduna rally and claims about the authenticity of the crowd images.

Martins said he first came across a social media account belonging to a woman named Jéssica Oliveira, also known as Jessica Fazendeira, in 2020. Believing she was real, he decided to travel from Imperatriz in Maranhão to Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais to meet her. On October 9, Martins sold all his belongings to fund the bus trip. “I sold all my things, I got rid of everything,” he said.
