NIGERIA WILL SOON OVERCOME INSECURITY, TINUBU IS WORKING ROUND THE CLOCK - FIRST LADY, OLUREMI TINUBU

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has assured citizens that the country will overcome its security challenges, stating that President Bola Tinubu is working tirelessly to restore peace and protect lives and property.

Speaking during a meeting with traditional rulers in Ado Ekiti, she acknowledged the pa+n caused by kidn@ppings, b@nditry and k+llings across the country but said efforts were ongoing behind the scenes to tackle the situation.

According to her, “President Tinubu has entered into partnership with developed countries like the United States of America and others, and is taking internal security measures to smash those terr%rising the country and stoking the fire of k+llings and kidn@ppings across the geopolitical zones.”

She added, “It is disheartening that we have this insecurity. A lot of foreign countries are helping our country. The US and some other developed countries are helping us in this matter.”

The First Lady further stated that some of those behind the att@cks are not Nigerians, saying, “Some of those terr%rising us are non-Nigerians. No matter what happens, we shall overcome. Nigeria is too great to be intimidated.”

Appealing for patience and prayers, she said, “Challenges will come, but collectively, we can tackle them. I can assure you, we don’t have Mondays or Sundays; the President is working round the clock to get this matter resolved. God has been faithful. Let us be prayerful about our nation. It is prayers that have taken us this far.”

During the meeting, traditional rulers called for tougher laws against kidn@pping and the speedy creation of state police to strengthen security nationwide.
