IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SPEND ON A WOMAN. DON'T DATE IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT - 59-YEAR-OLD ACTRESS BUKKY CONDEMNS MEN WHO CALL WOMEN GOLD DIGGERS

Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has stirred reactions with her candid views on men who complain that women only ask them for money in relationships.

Speaking during an interview, the actress argued that a man should naturally take care of the woman he is dating without waiting to be asked.

According to her, “She doesn’t even need to ask you. It’s your responsibility as a man to know that, ‘My woman needs to wear good clothes. My woman needs to look good.’ Even if it is looking good for you as a man. She should be your pride. She should be your everything that you want to, you know, spend on.”

Reacting to men who describe women as gold diggers, Wright said she strongly disagrees with the label.
“I h+te it when I hear men calling women gold diggers. What do you expect her to dig? Sh#t? No, I won’t… I won’t advise any woman to dig anything less than gold,” she said.

When the interviewer asked whether men without the financial capacity should avoid dating, the actress replied, “Then don’t! Don’t date if you cannot afford it! Or you date according to your level.”
