Finance expert Geh Geh has explained his views on hypergamy and how he believes some men approach relationships with financially successful women. 

Speaking on the Echo Room Podcast, he said, “Urobo men understand hypergamy and investments. So any woman that feels like she is bigger than you can not submit to you.” 

He explained, “So what a urobo man does is that, if he meets a lady and she has money than him, he will use the woman’s resources to elevate himself and IG the woman does not agree, he will dump her because it’s only time it will take, the woman will leave him too. Because the day a woman is already bigger than you, she can’t look down again she will always look up based on hypergamy.” 

He added, “That’s why urobo men use women that has money to elevate themselves ‘if the woman does not agree, he will dump her’”. 

According to him, the situation is different when the man is wealthier, saying, “But if an urobo man meets a woman he is richer than, he will maintain her to the level that the woman will not grow more than him. Because what a man has is for everybody but once a woman has more, it will just be for her.” 

When asked if women should avoid dating men they are richer than, he said, “Then can date men they are richer than now but they should use their resources to elevate the man if they really want to keep the man for long”.

Businesses using Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform will begin paying for certain customer messages from October 1, 2026, following a new pricing structure announced by the company. A 31-year-old mother, Kenya Glasgow, and her two-year-old daughter, Kennedi, have been k+lled by lightning during a thunderstorm in Margate, south-east Florida. A 23-year-old Omaha man, Deron Lewis-Payne, has been sentenced to 10 years and one month in federal prison after pleading guilty to robbing a bank and using, carrying and brandishing a fir+arm during the crime. The Ogoni Dialogue Committee, ODC, has denied claims that it influenced the allocation of 40 job slots at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, or played any role in the award of government contracts.
