"DO NOT PRAY FOR YOUR WIFE TO FEED YOU" - LEGENDARY ACTOR CHIEF PETE EDOCHIE SAYS

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has advised married men not to pray for a situation where they become dependent on their wives for food.

Speaking on Isbae U’s Curiosity Made Me Ask, Edochie said his comments were based on his nearly six decades of marriage and experience.

“I have been married for the past 57 years,” he said.

The veteran actor warned that a man who becomes financially dependent on his wife could face ridicule and emotional distress, urging men to take the responsibility of providing for their families seriously.

He said: “If things change and your wife has to feed you for two or three days, you would want to take poison. The kind of insult that will be heaped on you because your wife is feeding you, don’t ever think about it.”
