"NIGERIANS DON'T WANT APC AGAIN, TINUBU WILL LOSE IF THERE'S AN ELECTION TODAY" - PRIMATE AYODELE WARNS PRESIDENT AHEAD OF 2027
Renowned cleric and leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has made a bold prediction about the political future of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking during a recent address, the outspoken prophet claimed that President Tinubu would face significant challenges if elections were conducted today, insisting that many Nigerians have become dissatisfied with the current administration due to the prevailing economic hardship, rising insecurity, and growing public frustration across the country.
According to Primate Ayodele, President Tinubu would not easily accept electoral defeat if he were voted out of office, drawing comparisons with former President Goodluck Jonathan, who famously conceded defeat after the 2015 presidential election.
The cleric stated:
“If they defeat Tinubu, it will take about two weeks for him to accept defeat, and there will be high tension in the country. For you not to be defeated, Tinubu, you have to do a lot of things—a lot.
If there is an election today, you will lose because Nigerians do not like you anymore. They do not like your party. They do not want to hear anything about your party, APC.”
Primate Ayodele further urged the president to pay closer attention to the concerns of ordinary Nigerians, warning that public anger and disappointment could have serious political consequences if not addressed before the next election cycle.
His remarks come at a time when many Nigerians continue to express concerns over the rising cost of living, inflation, unemployment, insecurity, and the overall economic situation in the country. While supporters of the Tinubu administration argue that the government’s reforms require time to produce positive results, critics insist that millions of citizens are already struggling under the weight of current policies.
The statement has since generated mixed reactions across social media, with some Nigerians agreeing with the cleric’s assessment of the country’s mood, while others dismissed the comments as political speculation.
As preparations for the 2027 elections gradually begin to take shape, political observers believe the coming years will be crucial for the Tinubu administration, as public perception, economic performance, and security improvements may ultimately determine the president’s political standing and the future of the APC.
